The new Euromet Kite support, in addition to adapting to all brands of large headlamps, allows you to make a very precise micrometric adjustment on the three rotation axes without having to resort to awkward tools and guarantees a stable and constant calibration over time in any position. : horizontal, vertical, on the floor, on trellis or ceiling and also “stacked”.
The new product by Euromet of the moment is called KITE: a patented professional support for video projectors that offers solutions for every need for lasting installation, in all positions and in all projection modes (landscape, portrait, floor projections). The possibility of mounting two or more projectors in a “stack” is also very interesting.
So, this support offers maximum creative freedom to installers and designers. The support adjustment system consists of three knobs and a ratchet wrench that allows manual calibration at any time without the need for special tools. The most important accessory is called KITE ARM and allows you to mount the support in complex positions and orientations, with consequent optimization of the available space, without sacrificing fascinating and appropriate projections.
KITE at work in two installations
The new product completes the range of support systems for professional projectors by implementing the most recent needs of the technological market, and allowing even very complex installations to be easily designed and installed. This is the case of the Belgian Studio 100 in Antwerp which, joining forces with CityCubes, launched “Studio 100 Story”, an innovative immersive projection experience based on a combination of life-size projections and narrative audio, sent to the visitor through headphones and designed to immerse the public in a real sensory adventure. The need, in this case, was to create an installation with projection in FLOOR mode that had depth and height adjustment. The support with KITE ARM was the decisive element in facilitating installation and achieving the desired effect, having brought greater stability and precision in the orientation of the projectors even if inserted in a rather irregular structure in the ceiling.
The project of the National Salce Museum in Treviso is also noteworthy, and has seen the active participation of the Euromet KITE support. Wanting to exhibit the entire Salce Collection (tens of thousands of posters, impossible to display all together at the same time) and make it more visible, it was decided to create a sort of twelve-lane “road” along which the posters, projected, run in random order, at different speeds, creating a sort of revolving wall where the collection is displayed in a dynamic and captivating way, and where visitors can interact with thanks to the touchscreens, selecting specific categories of posters. This colossal video projection was made with four 16,000 lumen laser projectors mounted, using the new Euromet KITE brackets, in vertical position and with vertical soft-edge. Furthermore, the supports integrate seamlessly into the museum spaces designed by architect Chiara Matteazzi, thus demonstrating their flexibility in all installation situations, even in the difficult museum environment.
