With a dedicated patent, Euromet’s new iconic model is perfect for long-lasting installations, for all projection methods and positions, ranging from landscape, all the way through to portrait position, as well as floor projection. Furthermore, it is possible to stack two or more projectors. KITE is all of this and even more: it is a professional support system with micrometric adjustment on three rotation axes, with stable calibration on truss or ceiling too.

The system can be micro-adjusted with the following methods:

  • manually;
  • with a sliding support;
  • with a wrench (not included);
  • with a ratchet (optional).

The main accessory element is KITE ARM, used to install the support system in difficult positions and with complex orientations, to make the most in terms of space and layout – yet ensuring top projection quality

As its name says, KITE is flying high in the audio & video industry sky.

AV Awards 2021: Euromet among the finalists

For sure, having Euromet among the AV Awards 2021 finalists with KITE too is a great achievement, as the award is one of the most important for companies operating in this sector.

This year, the awarding ceremony will take place in the British capital, on 5th November, in a hybrid format, after last year’s entirely on-line edition. The ceremony will take place at Evolution London in compliance with UK anti-covid rules, still offering the opportunity to follow the event on-line for those who will not be able to join us.

Since their launch in 1999, the AV Awards celebrate best practices and the innovative momentum by companies operating in this sector, thanks the work of a steering committee assessing candidates on a yearly basis.

Over 20 years, the event has become more and more important in terms of status and size, thus attracting 1,500 players from all over the world every year. Being candidate for the event, a fact that is also covered in the international AV Magazine, is not the only coverage for this month:  also “Connessioni” – an Italian specialized magazine – is talking about KITE in  September’s Newsletter

KITE, the right solution: the experience in Antwerp and Treviso

KITE is the last integration in the supporting system range for professional projectors, designed to meet new technological marker requirements. Making it possible to work on complex installations in an easy way, made it one of the most appreciated systems in Italy as well as internationally.

In Antwerp, in Belgium, Studio 100 and City Cubes launched Studio 100 Story, a special location for shows and events, and opted for KITE to create a sensory journey through earphones for the visitors, with an immersive projection experience. In this case, it was vital to create an installation with FLOOR projection, making it possible to adjust depth and height. KITE ARM contributed to projector stability and orientation accuracy despite ceiling unevenness.

Also the Museo Nazionale Collezione Salce in Treviso chose KITE in order to exhibit the entire Salce collection, including many posters to be exhibited, yet not to be displayed altogether. To solve this problem different street lanes were created, onto which the posters are projected and are displayed randomly at different speed levels. Visitors can interact through the touchscreen by selecting poster categories.

Thanks to Euromet’s KITE, the installation was made vertically and with vertical soft edge, whereas the projection accounts for 16,000 lumens.

This experience also showcased the product’s flexibility even in a sensitive environment such as a museum.
