Euromet’s award-winning projector support lines, ARAKNO, KALIBRO, UNIKA and the newest KITE show once again the company’s innovation and resourcefulness in designing projector systems.

The new KITE completes the support systems range for professional projectors while implementing the latest technology market requirements.

It offers a precise, quick and stable adjustment system thanks to its 3 calibration positions for a better weight distribution and more stability as well as lightweight.

Its key accessory – KITE ARM – also enables different positions and complex orientation, while optimizing space and making any kind of projection possible: wall, portrait, truss or with extensions.

National Museum Salce Collection – Treviso – Italy

This project was created based on the desire to exhibit the whole Salce Collection and make it more visible. The collection consists of dozens of thousands of posters, virtually impossible to be displayed all together simultaneously. The idea was, therefore, to create a sort of 12-lane road along which the posters are running randomly, side by side, with different speed levels, thus creating a sort revolving wall where the collection is displayed in a constantly changing array and where visitors can interact with the projection thanks to touchscreens, selecting specific poster categories explained by an animated description.

The large video-projection was made possible thanks to four 16-000-Ansi-Lumen laser-projectors mounted in portrait positions and with vertical soft-edge.

The projectors were installed using the new Euromet Kite brackets, making it possible to obtain a quick and precise calibration and a reduced visual impact. This perfectly integrates Kite in the museum’s spaces designed by the architect Chiara Matteazzi.

Kite AV Award Contest presentation

KITE is a professional innovative and patented support for video projectors.

It is able to make a micrometric and precise adjustment on the 3 rotation axes.

At the same time, it guarantees, once calibrated, constant stable calibration in a fixed position over time.

The Kite provides solutions to easily satisfy every enduring specific installation need:

Connection: to truss, wall, ceiling and large range of telescopic extensions poles

Projection: landscape, portrait, floor projections

Even more, there is also the possibility to have 2 or more projectors in “stack” together.

The support’s adjustment system consists of 3 knobs and a ratchet wrench that allows manual calibration at any time without the need of any uncomfortable special tools.

The stand is designed to be easily adapted to any projector’s brands

His originality had been confirmed and recognised officially by the fact that had been even patented

Its adjustment system goes beyond the concept that inspired the supports present on the market today.

At the moment the market in general has a single central joint in charge of rotating on itself and maintaining the desired position of the entire system.

The Kite replaced this system with 3 distinct support points (2 lateral and 1 rear) each of which allows the micrometric adjustment of pitch and roll through a vertical threaded stem and guarantees self-alignment by means of articulated bearings present inside them, while the yaw is calibrated by means of another horizontal threaded stem which moves the rear support point laterally.

Each of the 3 points is self-aligning, this means that by adjusting a point, the other two adapt their inclination accordingly, without further adjustments by the operator.

This innovative concept makes the system extremely practical and intuitive, to be used in any situation (even the more extreme) making it easier for the installer to carry out his work quickly and safely.

The forces required for adjustment are very low, but at the same time, once the desired position is reached, the system remains fixed, stable and constant over time, avoiding continuous system calibration post installation.

It has a wide range of accessories that allows it to satisfy any installation need in any environment with the same tool, helping the warehouse management and installation times.
