Euromet has received the Regula award on May 31. Euromet finished amongst the top 10 projects published in the volume “100 Italian Projects”, representative of technical and professional excellence in 10 different areas.

Euromet, together with V3 Elettro Impianti (Ancona) and Sisme (Osimo), received this recognition for their technical contribution to the redevelopment of the OGR Officine Grandi Riparazioni of Turin, inside a project designed by the FOR ENGINEERING studio in Turin.

REGULA Award

«The RĒGULA Award is the natural extension of the 100 Italian projects volume; it is, in fact, a recognition assigned to the work that shows the different facets of talent of those who have both designed and made a significant contribution to the strengthening of Italian superiority in this sector ”, explains the publisher Riccardo Dell’Anna, who will speak at the opening of the event with salutations and cerimonial thanks.

100 Progetti Italiani was created to highlight projects worthy of the distinctive “Made in Italy” emblem, combining contemporary intelligence and centuries-old tradition.

The curator of the volume Arch. Franco Bulgherini and our editorial team have selected each project to produce a volume rich in values such as progress, art and beauty. It is a matter of discussion, with a review of each project. The view is that contemporary engineering and architecture are an important part of our “landscape”, an effective landscape of buildings, a mental landscape and inherent in design sensibility. The volume is particularly intended for architects and designers.

Officine Grandi Riparazioni of Turin meets Videowall Infinigrid, Custom Wall Mounts and “Scenario” mounts

In total, 158 Philips monitors were required, of various sizes, divided as follows:

– 20 “49” monitors to fully cover one side of the elevator column (2 x 10 pieces vertically) in the dining area, plus 6 more monitors, 49” in two of the other walls (2×2 pieces and 1 + 1 vertically )

– 2 98” monitors for the restaurant, both on the wall and on the floor supports.

– a large video foam installed in the foyer, for a remarkable visual impact, made with 75 49-inch monitors (15×5 pieces, installed at 6 meters high), while 3 inverted 84”monitors are positioned vertically and side-by-side.

– 2 98” monitors, with their ground supports, for the press room.

– at the sides of the stage which hosts live events, two video waves made with 25 49-inch monitors (5×5 pieces)

To install these monitors, Euromet has chosen to use the Videowall Infinigrid, custom wall mounts and the

Scenario model with wheel mounts. In particular, the following were used:

  • 75 Infinigrid 2.0 modules with custom frame for the Philips 49” monitor for making a 10×5 and adjacent to 5×5

  • 20 pcs of FIX per il Videowall 2×10 of minimal width, custom-made for the walls next to the public  elevator of the OGR restaurant

  • 3 custom wall mounts for 84” for Philips BDL8470EU (70Kg)
  • 2 Custom wall mounts for 98”
  • 2 Terraced Model Supports for Scenario 98” Philips BDL9870EU (91.40Kg)

The products we supplied have greatly reduced installation time (5 days), especially with Infinigrid 2.0, since the “frames” that make up the product (tailor made for us specifically for selected Philips Monitors) are practical and function as a template, allowing for a proper alignment in regards to the so-called “bubble” of the monitor.
