Together with their local partner, Jumbo Vision International (JVI), Euromet has delivered a massive free form video wall called The Gorge Wall. This stunning piece of technology results in a 86 megapixels video wall, 10 meters high, with the use of 41x Samsung 55” screens all mounted on a customized wall mounting structure by Euromet, and implemented by JVI.

The goal behind the Gorge Wall was to showcase the majesty of the Roy Hill mining project in the Pilbara (northern Western Australia), to employees, visitors, partners and investors in an innovative way. The Gorge Wall is so called because of  the deep red walls of Pilbara from which iron is extracted.

To realize the wall, Euromet used INFINIGRID, modular video wall mounting system.

The project also involved the Remote Operations Centre with the construction of five 10x screen video walls for the control room with Infinigrid, as well as audio-video conferencing solutions, training and meeting rooms with Flat Panel Ground Mounts by Euromet.

Roy Hill Holdings are leading the development of a new generation of integrated iron ore mining, rail & port operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Gorge Wall and ROC are located at the corporate headquarters at Perth Airport.

“We are proud to have been chosen as partners for the support of one of the biggest video wall installations in the world, confirming our ability to operate in highly complex projects,” said Cristiano Traferri, Director of Business Development Euromet.

“This project confirms the reliability of Euromet as global partner and the excellence of our products 100% Made in Italy” recalls Franco Stacchiotti, CEO Euromet.
