Podio solution nominated as “Best Technology Support” at the prestigious awards ceremony held in conjunction with ISE on May the 10th at the Maritime Museum in Barcelona.
In this edition of the international prize dedicated to the Audio Video Professional sector, among the 4 best projects in the world for the category “Best Technology support” there is the Multimedia Podium created by Euromet for the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Claudio Miranda, from the Technology Unit at Bocconi University and project leader, confirms the significant research and analysis work that made made possible to integrate all the most modern and innovative assisted teaching solutions. The design and mechanical efficiency of the Podium represents an absolute novelty both for the Italian and the International universities’ equipment .
As a way not to compromise the functionality of the whole structure, the project team has studied precise solutions that provide the customer with:
- control buttons integrated into the main body to directly switch on the internal PC, with a Power Led included;
- an internal cooling system to control the temperature of all the electronic devices housed inside;
- a layered structure designed to comfortably accommodate A/V devices and hardware connected to each other in an orderly manner; they are easily accessible thanks to the movable shelf equipped with a key closure;
- a work surface, housing the touch display, tilts in a simple and adjustable way, directly by hand; this enables a toatlly customizable comfort of use and makes it easy to avoid reflections on the surface;
- predisposition on the sides to install A/V connections (such as HDMI ports, USB hub of the internal PC, USB power, USB-C for BYOD) and a power socket for a laptop;
- predisposition for recessed 7″ touch display (IoT controls) and keyboard, mouse, pencil and retractable presenter housings;
- a pull-out shelf on one side to support a laptop;
- a space for a charging dock, to pair wireless microphones on the support column.
