Project Overview

Projection mapping installations in museums are among the most requested and engaging experiences today. They often take place in prestigious environments, where every aesthetic and structural detail must be preserved with the utmost care.

In these contexts, positioning projectors becomes a real challenge: spaces are delicate, architectural constraints are numerous, and the immersive impact of the experience depends on image stability and precision.

To meet these needs, Euromet developed Arakno Floor Support, a system designed to safely install any projector—even in complex positions—ensuring maximum stability and seamless projection continuity.

 

The Challenge

High-level projection mapping combines the contribution of multiple projectors: each unit must maintain an impeccable, constant, and millimetric position over time.

However, suspended installations or direct mounting to walls, ceilings, or floors are not always possible. In many cases, stand-alone solutions are required—allowing full orientation freedom without compromising precision.

In the specific case of the Prague installation, Euromet had to design a support capable of holding multiple projectors in portrait configuration, positioned on the floor, with no possibility of anchoring.

A challenge that demanded stability, flexibility, and a design able to integrate seamlessly into the surrounding environment.

 

The Solution

From this need, Arakno Floor Stand was born:

  • A stable yet easily height-adjustable support;

  • A base with an original design, crafted to blend discreetly into any environment;

  • A robust and versatile structure, designed to provide maximum freedom of projector orientation even in the most challenging installation scenarios.
